TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The maximum number of guests per booking is strictly as permitted with the booking arrangement NO exceptions.
2. Credit card payment (visa and mastercard) is accepted however all bank charges are the responsibility of the card holder and will be added to the total amount owing.
3. Your booking is deemed as CONFIRMED when management notifies you of your deposit/payment being received being either the 50% deposit or if a shorter time-frame; your payment in full.
4. The total booking balance is due 4 weeks prior to confirmed date of booking and if unpaid the booking will be deemed as canceled.  Arawa Lodge reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not completed within the terms and conditions.
5. You understand that as head tenant for the room/s booked by the ‘group’, you accept all responsibility for any damage caused to any part of the lodge or its contents by yourself, your group or their guests.  You agree that you will meet any actual costs that may be incurred to remedy the damage or replace any missing items, and will advise the manager/custodian/booking agent of any breakages.
6. Arawa Lodge will do everything reasonably possible to ensure the property is available and in good order at the time of confirming the booking, however if for any reason (such as a health and safety issue etc) it is not, they will advise the head tenant as soon as possible and will refund all money paid.  It is understood that Arawa Lodge will not be liable for any other expenses caused to the Hirer or their Party as a result of the property not being available.
7. All bookings canceled one full calendar month prior to the first date of rental will be refunded in full, less the 20% administration fee. Cancellations after that date will not be refunded. Should management be able to resell the room/s and/or the property is hired out for equal value, the tenants will be refunded in full for every day of successful hire over the sum already refunded to the original amount paid, less an administration cost of 20% of the entire booking, regardless of the cancellation date. Arawa Lodge reserves the right to cancel all future bookings if, in their opinion, the tenants have proved unsuitable for any reason (at their sole discretion).  If future bookings are canceled a full refund will be given of any monies held to secure those bookings, less a 20% administration fee.
8. Arawa Lodge will not be held responsible for any damage or theft to you or your property, including vehicles during your stay or take any responsibility or have any liability (insurance or otherwise), due to theft or damage of your property or vehicles during your stay.
